In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top communication apps on the Android platform in Belarus varied significantly in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Telegram saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, climbing from around $6K at the start of July to over $18K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at approximately 14.7K and ending at about 10.6K. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 2.5M throughout the quarter.

Rakuten Viber Messenger experienced a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.5K in mid-September. Weekly downloads started at 8.7K, peaked at 11.5K in mid-August, and then decreased to 6.9K by the end of September. The app maintained a strong user base, with active users increasing from 3.3M to over 3.5M during the quarter.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out showed modest revenue, with figures ranging from $253 to $398 over the quarter. Weekly downloads were stable, starting at 4K and ending slightly lower at 3.7K. Active users remained around 500K, with minor fluctuations throughout the period.

NumBuster reported a slight increase in revenue, reaching $143 by the end of September. Downloads saw a significant spike in late July, reaching 7.7K, before stabilizing to around 2.9K by quarter's end. Active users grew from 9.5K to over 17K, indicating a growing user base.

Psiphon Pro maintained steady revenue, with minor variations between $63 and $85. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 711 and ending at 788, while active users fluctuated, peaking at 15K in early August before declining to around 10K by the end of September.
